Training In Perth

On top of that you have to pay $200 for a biosignature which will then point you int he direction to buy all the supplements you need and they sell.

Each to their own... I just find those olympic platforms they have a waste. Would be nice to get on there and actually use them.

What kind of areas are best suited for access into the city, without being too close? Were in the process of trying to find suitable accommodation but unsure what area to look.

-maylands, mount lawley. 20 mins from city. old working class suburbs now trendy areas.
-any western suburbs. expensive, also close to beach on other side.
-victoria park. current trendy, good cafes, close to city.
-belmont, carlisle, cloverdale. current working class (and some undesirable locals) but some nice streets and great location. in 10 years will be expensive.

Any of the above then! i think the main factor will be where the work will be so its like a catch 22 really. cant look for accommodation without a job and cant look for a job without the accommodation. A Western suburb sounds appealing. I take it theres gyms well spread across the city.

To be quite honest with you mate im very flexible. I have been looking at maybe doing security work as it gives you the freedom in the days and working mostly evenings which would be pretty good. But in all honesty i can turn me hands to most things and im ready to do most kind of work. Ive worked in the security industry back home so it will be an advantage ive also got my coaching certs for swimming, gym instructor, football coach etc etc. not really into working in the food and drink industry though eg chef bar man etc.

Ive worked on nuclear sites for last 4 years so looking for a change of job lifestyle, living experience etc.

most people come here for the mining so you might want to look into that. it can be a pretty good gig if its your thing. basically you live in perth but they fly you up to the mines on a roster that is something like two weeks on one week off. so you live up there for two weeks working your ass off, they provide food, accom, gym etc and then they fly you back and you get a week or whatever to spend at the beach. the best part is the pay is awesome.

just something to look into if you havent thought about it already. there are plenty of employment agencies here that specialise in fly in fly out mining jobs so maybe give them a call and see what they think of your resume if youre interested. they can also tell you what training you need to do to get the job you want.

Thanks for the info mate. My c.v would probably suite some of the mining jobs especially the uranium ones. But to to honest ive worked hard for the last few years saving up to come to oz so really im looking for a more casual type of work so i can enjoy as much spare time as possible. It mite be something i would consider in a few months when ive spent all my money lol. Im coming with my fiance too so i dont think she would be to happy being left in an unfamilliar city for 2 weeks at a time alone. although i bet she wouldnt complain when the $ come in...

I go over to work in Perth a fair bit. Was over there for 6 months last year so this is all good info for me too regarding gyms. I stay in Swanbourne with my mum when I'm over there which is a really nice suburb near the beach. I was training at Lords in Subiaco when I was there because they were close and quiet. Had all the equipment I needed. How far is the Muscle pit from Swanbourne?
