Squats

I spent $600 on a muscle motions pawer cage and its the best money i have spent, I didnt get the commerical version as i only use it for myself. I do feel more comfortable in a cage with the safety bars than when i had the stands.

Silver back as for pressing in it my cage i believe most have the ability to rack the bar at the front of the cage to allow pressing.

Also it was said before cover the pins where you rack the bar in rubber as it destroys the knurling, or just use a shitty old bar in it and have your good oly bar for powercleans and such outside the cage.

I just found a rack for 500 dont know why you owuld of paid 1200 :S

Haha.

Just found a car for $500, why would I pay $50,000?

In all seriousness though, by the time I brought a normal rack plus weight racks, I'd be up for 800-900ish. What's an extra 350 in the scheme of things to get something that's rock solid.

No fails allowed fellas!!

Probably why my deadlifts are progressing slower.

My next house will have a dedicated gym which will be nice...

You can buy that click together padding stuff form kmart target i saw the other day. I think it was quite cheap..

Could be an idea for you for deadlifts maybe if you even doubled it up it should work fine for deads..

I was looking at the rack as it downloaded and was thinking thats a nice looking power rack, then i looked at the floor and thought shit thats a nice floor... two and two dont go together :D

I would go for that click padding stuff as suggested and maybe even try a flat wooden board over the top to absorb some more force when you drop the weight, a nice size area of it would save you a lot of money if you accidentally let go.

Also is that an apartment?

I was going to do something with the floor, just haven't bothered to.

I'm selling the house soon to make way for something a little larger which will have a dedicated gym.
