Huge Squat from Ray Williams (subscribe to his channel).
Here he does a 410.5kg (905 lbs) Squat, raw, no wraps, in the USAPL/IPF.
The sad thing is, he forgets to wait for the rack command, so he gets redlighted.

Here is his 390kg attempt which counted.

How do you go from squatting 800lb with wraps to squatting 905 without wraps in 16 weeks?

He did 800lbs in wraps at his first comp. The 860lbs without wraps was in his second comp. Its notn unusual to make big improvements when you are starting out.

yeah- next year for sure. He didn't qualify for this one. I think he went 390/220/317.5 at this comp. On total- thats only 25kg less than Randall Harris and 10kg less than Gillingham and 7.5 less than Blaine. If he did this at nats he would have come in 3rd place in the supers, but he obviously has a lot of room to move. This years USAPL raw nationals will be a cracker.

Yeah, bad luck and that rack command. This vid's definitely raised some eyebrows around the place.
