Questions regarding sweat

Sometimes i sweat a lot when i work out and sometimes i hardly sweat at all. The intensity is always the same just the volume of sweat changes. Does this happen to anyone else? Do you know why it happens?

Sweat is just the bodies natural cooling system, can just put body temperature down to one of the causes of the different volumes

Yeah but im not sure why my body would have such radicall difference in temperature espcially when the intensity of the workout is the same.

not too sure if liquid content would have much to do with it , if you were severely dehrated you might not sweat but our bodies are made up of mostly water so there should be plenty to sweat out

depends how much liquids in your body, sweat is actually the release of plasma from the blood when the body is dehydrated. conclusion = drink more water.

Drink less and more than likely you'll perspire less. It's the body's way of keeping itself balanced. Homeostasis.

diet also affects how much you sweat
i find caffeine makes me sweat more also

Caffeine is a diuretic that causes the body to lose water by stimulating the kidneys to release more water in the urine.

Aren't you a gentleman, Fadi! Is it because you are raising your 4 girls to be lovely young ladies? :)

Gosh, where have you been Katie? I haven't heard from you for a while I was beginning to think I've upset you or something. Not like me to upset a lady. I'm surrounded by five remember? Seriously Katie, I must be really blessed to have all girls, just love the female species:).

Look after yourself.

Whaddaya mean Fadi, where have I been? I've been on these forums daily - just not bumping into you in your nocturnal hours though.

Aah I would love to have girls, because if I had boys they would end up little terrors I'm sure.

Fair enough, you keep on bumping into those dayshift boys then! :)

Yeh, girls are much more affectionate (generally speaking of course). Hopefully one day you'll have your own little Katies running around you calling you Mumy. (We need a "proud" icon around here!).

Until we bump into each other again, take care.
