Tim.

I don't know if you saw my post in my training log, but if I get something like that for lunch, I swap out my regular lunch of nuts, the pre workout rice cakes, and post workout shake. It's approx 500 calories of 45f/30p/25c. So I can get pretty much whatever I want as long as it has some protein and isn't full of sugar. Salmon is usually a good choice as it fills up the fats macro.

Tomorrow we will be having a real BBQ!!!

Gave the old Weber Kettle(s) a good clean out, a can of oven cleaner and the old pressure washer brought my 2007 model compact and 2011 model premium up like new.

Then I proceeded to marinate 2.5kg of American style pork ribs in Kentucky BBQ Dry rub and 1.5kg of chicken wings in my own 'devil wing' marinade. And stocked up on lump charcoal.

Can't wait, I will be firing them up tomorrow, more photos to come....

I just got a food boner

I know they are technically garbage....BuT! I actuallly enjoy them. And these days i only ever drink to enjoy it.

Bbq looks great!

Tim.

Not garbage, it's what you do 90% of the time matters, the other 10% is free.

Life is not about rice cakes and $5 out of date sushi and curries from your local food Court IMO, it's about living and enjoying what you eat/drink, but do so in moderation.

Eat hard, train hard and enjoy life.

PS I will soon be buying a smoker, then the real food porn will start:)

Quoting for truth.

Good stuff Mick. You are one of Ausbb's true celebrities.

Now onto more serious matters. Can you call a Weber "a real BBQ"??? Something you keep in your garage all clean and polished prolly isn't "a real BBQ". You woulda seen Bazza20; 's BBQ. About a metre long by a foot wide, big enough to cook half a Cow on.

Anyway enjoy.

Looks like you got ripped, the stuff you eat I would not touch with a 10 foot pole, each to their own I guess...

Aside from being rude, I'm fukcing sick of comments like this. If you want to perform at a level above the average or compete you will need to modify your diet to some degree. Doesn'tmatter whether you're talking bodybuilding or powerlifting or athletics. Of course food and life should be enjoyed but if you think you don't need to change your diet to get certain results you're kidding yourself. Especially if you want to be 6-7% bf naturally. He's just gone and bought lunch while he's at work ffs Mick. I'm sure a smoker and fridge full of JD pre-mix is on the bosses to-do list next week.

Big mock. So have you managed a 200kg deadlift before you bag old Steve out. If not you should probably shut the fuck up.

You confused again??

What does a 200kg dead lift have to do with having a BBQ for my daughters birthday?? If I was training to do a 200kg dead lift pretty sure I would be doing them, but since I am not how does it relate to anything??

Can you run 10km and do 50 hand stand push ups?? If not may be shut the fuck up?? Oh, you haven't been practicing hand stand push ups?? May be if you did people would take you serious when you have a BBQ.:p
