Thx. Really stoked with my form. Still can't lift an atlas stone and bruised up my arms really badly trying. Boo!

the lightest was 72.5. i got it off the ground by a few inches, but that was it. felt it was grip / forearm / upper back which let me down. i can lift heavier than that, but it is SUCH an awkward thing to do! Argh!

Did you use tacky?
Where do you train at?
Maybe get a 60kg stone so you can do reps at that...

yeah used spider tacky
helped, but not enough unfortunately! not sure where to go for a 60kg stone...? these were made for the gym specifically... any tips / ideas appreciated!

lol! I do loves them strongman lifts.

I mean, f**k, why bother using a rack to lift weights from, when you can just carry the whole damn rack, weights and all?! :D

That's what it looks like, at first glance, anyway.'

Seriously, I have a lot of respect for those guys (and girls). Well done, xwifex. And good luck with that stone. Sounds like "fun", heh... :p

Nice, will have to get my arse down there and give that a try. Looks like a good workout.

i love it. so much fun, and the guys i train with are the best. they give me a lot of time, which is great considering i'm crashing their sessions in the middle of competition training time! i like strongman because it requires a huge amount of compound strength, and explosive cardio.
