Pain, protein and fake tan: an insight into the 'art' of bodybuilding

06 March 2014 , 1:58 PM by Kylie Bartholomew

The Sunshine Coast's Mike Debenham is one of few Australians on the professional bodybuilding circuit. He's been named Mr New Zealand three times. This weekend he's one of three Australians competing in the Australian Pro Grand Prix in Melbourne.
Mr Debenham, who's hero like many bodybuilders is Arnold Schwarznegger, says the sport is more psychological than physical.
He spoke with Breakfast presenter Rob Blackmore about the discipline of the sport as well as pain, food, drugs andfake tan.
