Hi all,

I've decided to sign up and start a thread here (after on and off lurking) to see if it will help me stay motivated. I've noticed that reading/posting/feedback seems to keep me motivated with other hobbies I have so I'm hoping it'll have the same effect here.

Currently 68kg, 173cm tall and obtaining a bit of a gut (nothing huge, but enough to cover my abs - yes... the ones I keep telling myself are there but just hiding **fingers crossed**).

I also have an incline/decline bench, heavy bag, around 110kg worth of freeweights, a barbell, 4 dumbells and **cough cough** a tower200. Without breaking the bank - any other suggestions as a bare minimum?

Also will have to really work on my diet because it's really absolutely pathetic at the moment. I eat about as much as a 5 year old and I'm 23. **facepalm**.

**fingers crossed** My goal is to reach at least 80-85kgs and have visible abs. Not much but when motivation isn't there it's just impossible!

Any feedback is appreciated - thanks peeps!

JMo, welcome to ausBB...

Sounds like you are training for hypertrophy judging by your above post..

Nutrition is very important so maintaining a good balanced diet is essential.

Maybe have a read of this thread http://www.ausbb.com/showthread.php?t=9660 and start a training log in the "member training diaries" section of the forum to track your progress and keep you motivated & on track.

Good luck :)
