There has been some crazy lifting at the IPF subjuniors/juniors so far.

Some highlights:
A subjunior 60kg lifter- at a boyweight of 59.5kg went 245kg/145kg/225kg for a total of 615kg.

A subjunior in the 82.5kg class went 310kg/172.5kg/301.5kg for a total of 784kg!!!

In the juniors- a 75kg lifter went 340kg/185kg/285kg for a 810kg total.

A 100kg junior went 380kg/230kg/340kg for a 950kg total, 2nd place was 375kg/245kg/327kg for a 947.5kg total.

Australian Chris Caltabiano lifts tonight in the 110s- last year he took gold in the bench. Go Chris!!

The 125s and SHWs will all have lifters going well over 1000kg.

THe Ukraine 125 Junior Testsov did a
1093 total via 412.5, 328, 352.5.

The top 3 125+ Juniors all totalled 1065!!!
Insane!

The 110 lifter was only 101kg and he benched 300kg! The 125+ lifter was only 127kg and he squatted 440kg! Both Ukraine!

maybe I shoudl import some water from ukraine... F*** me they are big numbers... how the hell do they get so strong... they can train that much harder then us.

Very interesting article and comments about the IPF in Powerlifting USA in the August edition.

The question is asked about training and steroids.

Most US lifters train as hard as anyone. Early on, the US did well in IPF, since they brought in tighter testing, they get dominated by Russians and Ukrainians.

Some give first hand accounts about how they beat the tests and openly take drugs in front of competitors.

Most comments fall in line with what some Australians have told me.

It seems that Australia and the US are very good with their testing, not so with other countries.

Its a good read at least.

I agree with PTC definitely smell drugs

The 110 lifter was only 101kg and he benched 300kg! The 125+ lifter was only 127kg and he squatted 440kg! Both Ukraine!

Please understand they are not my comments, they are comments from lifters in the US and others I have spoken to here.

I did see a Russian bench 185kg and lockout 192.5kg, turned down for uneven extension.

Oh yeah, he was raw, no arch whatsoever and weighed 75kg, benched 185kg @ 75kg raw!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have videos, I'll get them all uploaded before I put up a link.
