Good stuff mate. You've achieved some impressive results that's for sure and it sounds like you're far from finished. Heaps of good info and inspirational stories on this forum. Keep up the good work.

Hey guys, thought I'd better introduce myself in here...

- Name - Rob
- Age - 30
- Gender - Male
- Location - Heathwood Brisbane
- Training experience - Very little

Total newbie here just getting into training now, been going to Snap Fitness for a couple of weeks now with the main goal of burning fat. At the same time though I've become really hooked on the strength training side of things too.

Howdy all.

Rix, 27 from England, moved to Aus 3 years ago and now live in Brisbane. I'm hoping to get married soon so want to look decent for that, but always been super skinny and I'm sick and tired of it. Always had problems gaining due to Lactose intolerance and also Wheat intolerant.

I started lifting again in July this year after owning a small gym way back in the day so I have experience in lifting and training.

I train 3x a week and purely bulk training. Starting weight was 53kg iirc and I'm up to 65kg right now but I'm getting fatter so gonna cut back on calories a little and reduce carb intake. I'm aiming for 85kg so still have a looong way to go and results are terribly slow for me...

Anyway that about sums me up hope to see you all on the forums soon :)

Name: Luke
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Weight: 114kg - 251 lbs
Height: 6''1
Location: Rockingham - Perth
Training Experience: nil
Interests: I toy around with RC Drift cars, Nerf guns, PS3 (BF3 - GT5) Also bang around on some CDJ900's trying to school myself through YouTube.

Overall Im interested in improving my health for a better quality of life (injured my back a year ago) but especially for my 2 little girls and the ball and chain.

My initial goal: Is for abetterme and to lose weight through healthy eating/heavy lifting and get strong whilst doing it.

I am a stay-at-home dad (more or less through my injury last year) and have made a half arse effort about improving my health for the last 6 months since I've been at home let alone 26 years..

I have a simple bench/barbell/dumbell/weight stand/skipping rope and 180kg that I bought through GymDirect which I intend to make full use of.

For the last year I have been collecting info regarding nutrition and lifting and have only really put it all together in the last 3 months and I think I have something to work off...

I've trawled Ausbb for about that long too (3 months) and have collected info from PTC with a lot of info being copy/pasta printed out and highlighted for my collection

I intend to make a thread re: my nutrition plan shortly as, again, I think I have it sorted.

Anyways thats me in a nutshell and its time to get that betterme..

Cheers

Hi all. As you could probably guess from my username, my name's Scott. Im 23 and live in Brisbane. Ive been a member of gyms for about 6 years now, but its probably only been the past six months that i have started taking lifting a little more seriously to build muscle.

Im about 189cm and weigh 104kg. When i was at my heaviest i peaked at 114kg.
Goal number one is to get under 100kg, then its to get down to 95kg and evaluate where to from there.

Ive joined on here to find some like-minded people, that can provide me with more education, tips, and motivation.

My brother is my training partner, so as you would imagine, things can get quite competitive, haha.
