Training experience: 7 years weight lifting, some power lifting

Job: safety and Security Officer at Casino

I struggled a while with humility in Bodybuilding because it is a very self involved, prideful sport.
I prayed over it and woke the next day with the words "Love the Lord with all you might." running through my head. A scripture I had read and thought I had forgotten months prior.
I train now to glorify God with my body. I have to keep my pride in check somtimes, but dont find it too hard.
Some people sing for the Lord, some dance, I Lift

Thank you

Where are you training mate?

Just at home for now until I start moving respectable weight

Not having a go at you Dan-O, but please everyone, the point of being at the gym is to GET the respectable weights. Don't wait!! Get in there now, throw the flyweights around, learn, talk to people, and mostly, don't be embarrassed about where you are at.

We all started somewhere, usually small(er).

:)

Edit - should be Dan-O, not Crow... sorry.

um ok? I was just wondering because I live in Adelaide too.

Any weight is respectable as long as your lifting it and more importantly trying to improve.

I should have been more specific candyflip: at home I have ~110kgs of weight. Once I go past that I'll look at joining up at a gym or getting more weight. Since I have the weight here at home I don't see the point in paying for gym membership just yet.

Where do you go The Crow?

It would also be a good idea to say why you joined Ausbb - Australian BodyBuilding

to learn alot more about my body and the best way to train, also design a training program

I can do 10 x 240kg, only pushed out 1 x 280kg, the weights pushed me so far back into the seat my legs no longer can push the weight up because I'm a Shorty.:D

You shorties have it made. I have to start for a dead stop for a full ROM on the leg press. You guys get to start with a tiny little push from a dead stop.

Any Interests: Being able to come up with new and interesting excuses to get out of exercising!

It would also be a good idea to say why you joined Ausbb - Australian BodyBuilding: Caused Im basically sick and tired of being fat, sick and tired.
