Hi guys
Hi Guys (& Gals)!
Im a new member to the forum and to the BB fraternity.
Some info about me:
- Name - Lee
- Age - 32
- Gender - Male
- Location - Based in Perth but my work takes me FIFO to the North West
- Training experience - from a BB perspective, minimal id say, though i do know my way around most gym equipment, but like to keep it simple.
- Any Interests - surfing, sailing, great outdoors
I have joined AusBB because recently i have decided to transform my life... Being 32 and overweight (100kg for 175cm), and spent a decent part of my life devoting it to work but neglecting my fitness, it was time to flip the page over. I have started training consistently, and watching my diet, with a goal to shed the bf% but also grow, and also improve some flexibility too.
I do enjoy surfing and ocean sports generally but havent been able to find the time in the past to fully enjoy them - and when i have, the fitness and weight was no where near it needed to be to enjoy it as much as i did in my early to mid twenties - which sucks.
I have always had a strong admiration for body building too, and lets be honest...looking buff is looking good.
Also, i dont have any aversion to using 'gear' that will give me the growth i need, and I may at some point approach a doctor to assist me in this. As i see it im not a competitor or professional athlete (and dont intend to be), so im not out to 'cheat' anyone out of any medals.
Whats important to me now is achieving a mental state of training consistency and quality of life and carry it through to my 40's and 50's (and beyond!) - if i happen to grow twice as fast using a testo in the process, well thats just an offset to having poor genetics in the first place i suppose.
Initial Goals: lose BF, grow shoulders/arms/chest/back and core, improve stamina & flexibility. Dont care about abs yet (id settle for a flat stomach to start with!)
I hope to share the changes / growth / achievements I make and learn from the experience of others in the forum.
Thats me in a nutshell and any advice and training tips are definately welcome.
