Name: John
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Location: Sydney

Training Experience: Been weight training for a bit over 12 months now, not as consistently as I would have liked tough, and mostly cycling through bodybuilding programs. I've recently started doing more strength focused training as getting strong is really what I want to do, plus I want to head into the Defence Force. Also about to take the plunge and set up a home gym.

Interests:
Lifting, boxing and Krav Maga
Otherwise I'm a nerd at heart, tech, comics and movies :D

Age: 41

Training in the gym for over 20 years mainly as strenght training for various sporting persuits at various times; MA, kickboxing, motoX, Athletics, MTB etc

Current goals; after recoving from two broken legs last year decided to gain weight and strenghten.

From Nov 12-Jan 13 manage to go from 72kg to 80kg (figure not bad for over 40 and using no sups what so ever, just hard work).

Since feb though just going sidways, haven't gained but know thats from just going through the motions at the gym rather then hard training (bit of work and life getting in the road).

Now want a focus again and push towards 85kg (then I'd be ok with sideways for awhile)...then concentrate purely on strenght.

Hey,
I'm Kyle, 23 years old living in Port Kennedy WA.
I've only been training power lifting for 6 months and have a 170kg dead, 140kg squat, 100kg bench and 65kg strict press at 185cm 92kg BW.
My goals are basically to get stronger.
Cheers

Hi I'm Chris - Just trying to get back into shape

Hi all,

I have spent the weekend lurking and reading around the forum - some great content in here.

I am 32 173cm and 98kg :( this slowly crept up on me after leaving the army 10 years ago where I was 81 and good all round fitness (could comfortably do 100 military pushups in 2 minutes and 3 sets of 12 dead weight wide grip chin-ups)

Now I struggle to do 10 pushups and 3 chin-ups...

So I have found the 2200 calories diet and 8 week program and started today. It hurt, I have not wanted to throw up from a training session since leaving the army.

Really looking for some good gains and weight loss of the next 8 weeks. I must admit though, I am a little scared of upping my calorie intake to 2200, as I would not eat that much now.

Chris

Hello folks

Name: Cheru.

Age: 28.

Gender: Male.

Location: Australia.

Occupation: International college director.

Past Professions: Teacher.

Training Experience: Started training in 2001.

Interests: Power-lifting, bodybuilding, soccer, sex, basketball, cooking, music, travel and all things technology.

Current Weight: 87kg.

Height: 178cm.

Goals: I used to be passionate about bodybuilding in my early 20's, but life happened and I had to put my training on the backburner for quite some time. I continued to workout to stay fit, but that was the extent of it. 3 months ago I started to put more focus on my training and nutrition in order to get bigger, stronger, and to boost my natural test levels which are starting to get low as I get older and my SHBG levels which are starting to get higher. Ultimately, I'd like to get as close to 100kg (lean) as possible.

Progress: As of 3 months ago, I've increased my weight from 72kg to 87kg and have managed to maintain the same bodyfat %. I believe that most of this is attributable to muscle memory as I used to weigh close to 100kg when I was heavily into bodybuilding in my younger years. I also feel that the fact that I have "seriously" started to train legs for the first time in my life has had a considerable impact on my weight gain. I have managed add almost 3 inches to thighs in 3 months which I am feeling very, very happy with (although the chaffing is something I could certainly do without lol). I've also been ensuring that I eat at least 4,000 calories of clean unprocessed food every day, get 8 hours of sleep, train with ferocious intensity 4 times a week and supplement every day with quality multivits, D3, creatine, omega oil, nettle root, d-aspartic acid, zma, and Res100.

Thank you and I look forward to being a part of this great community :)
