Hack Squats or deficit deads for Deads assistance

To the question what is important in the bottom of the squat. Quads or posterior chain.

The answer is pretty simple, both. The % contribution of either is going to depend on the person and squatting style.

It's fucking physics too. A 200kg mass traveling at 1m/s (the descent phase) generates 100J of impact. Being pedantic, the effect on the knee is far greater given the multiplication of forces by the body's levers. The length of the force arm (in this case the femur) and the distance of the load from the pivot point (the knee) will vary between individuals.

We'll hold that multiplier as a constant for a given individual and now change the weight to 100kg but increase the velocity to 2m/s. There's 200J. And double the force experienced at the knee.

And you can ruin your knees doing ultra slow leg extentions with 50kg, whats your point? Its shear forces that matter. That is such a basic and naive understanding of physics. You completely disregarded newtons second law if you want brain masturbation to come into this

Oh dear, now you are really are confused. Do you even know what force is? (quick, run to google).

Leg extensions are an entirely different and can cause damage because the maximum extensile force is in the same plane as femur and tibia at the end of the movement. In other words, the hinge joint (knee) is completely unsupported.

Here's Newton's fourth Law: stop being an imbecile.

You are totally ignoring efficiency
Youre also going of on mad tangents lol. Safety, americans, engineering whats next? Martians?
