Wasnt mega clear on that - what sort of weights do you have to be lifting to warrant needing a bar with whip for cleans as opposed to just using a power bar?
The auskb bumpers seem great and if they dont require a specialist bar i might look into them down the track.
I dont think it would be an issue with a powerbar, thats all we had for nearly 3 years at Pre PTC/PTC.
Obviously having a quality IWF certified bar would make a difference at lifts over 100kg I suppose.
I know Nina much prefers the ladies OL bar I have bought the girls over any other bar, not so much whip, more circumference/length/needle bearings
The Ironedge bumpers are a great plate regardless of whether it is a bumper or regular plate. Being able to load a bar to 320kg with bumpers is a plus......and it looks awesome.
Bazza, I'm not surprised it sold out, thats peanuts for a bar capable of retaining its integrity with 270kg squats.
Oli, in short, the powerbar will be fine for cleans.
What makes his protein different to say natural WPC?
Cheers
Quality and legitimacy of both raw ingredients and flavouring...unfortunately the industry is, like all....flawed.
People will always attempt to make a quick buck...id rather work harder in building my reputation and awareness than make a quick buck.
Im in talks with %80 of the TAC Cup clubs in VIC...im my opinion if i were to bullshit them to make money it would be negligent on my behalf.
For example I have access to geranium (the "buzz" ingredient in jakked) but i will never make a product with that in it; for i dont want to be attached to that stigma and fad.
You see the market saturated with small retailers purchasing bulk amounts of imported or cheap materials from "manufacturers" and sell them off saying that theyre something that its not.
At the end of the day im trying to build a brand with a reputation..i wont sacrifice my reputation for a quick dollar. A reputation is no longer sought after by companies for they seek turnover instead, (understandable) but not how i want to do business
gym direct arent answering my emails about the muscle motion bar anymore.
I recall Hulk saying in a post recently that it's better to contact them by phone. He's flat out at times and doesn't always get a chance to check the emails regularly.
I can also be contacted via email (best method) for questions on equipment, pricing, delivery fees, etc. - adrian@gymdirect.com.au
You will get a faster response this way.
