Good massage therapist (Bris)

Im looking for a good massage therapist around the south bris/logan area no happy ending required I can do that myself.

So if anyone has any suggestions?

I need to get some serious work done on my traps/rhombs, preferably someone that has some experience with injury/recovery.

Didnt know if this was the right area to post but figured most of the people in this section wouldve been injured at some point.

Took me less than 30 mins by train to get there from south of the river

kal-el, you're welcome to come to me if you can get to New Farm. I know it's a ways from where you live though.

I'm sure there are great RMT's in the Logan area - have a look on gumtree, in your suburb? Look for a remedial massage therapist, they will be trained, as I was, to assist specifically with sports injury therapy.
 
Matt Stenzel is out massage therapist, best any of our lifters have used.
If you lift, and want a real massage, it's worth the effort to get it done properly by a powerlifter.
 
Does anyone know if any of these guys do private health rebates, ahm to be exact?

Bella are you able to? and whats your going rate?
 
Hey Kal-el. I work from PTC, at the moment though no health fun rebates available there, the rate there is $55 for PTC lifters and 75$ for non-members currently only working Tuesdays. I also work at Ondol Oriental Medicine clinic in Toowong wednesday to saturday, rate there is $85 an hour, but you can claim there. I'm new to brisbane and haven't got anyone to refer you to down around there, sorry mate hopefully you find someone good, like bella said make sure they're a remedial massage therapist. if i were you i would avoid the asian massage places at shopping centres it is very hit and miss.

My rate is $80 for one hour. Rebates not available yet, but soon.

Hello you :) Chum is correct. If you're looking for Sports Injury therapy, you'll want a RMT, not an asian massage chain in a shopping centre who specialise in pressure point therapy and shiatsu type massage. It will be very hit and miss.

Remedial Massage Therapist is the go. Look at your own suburb and surrounding suburbs and like I said, check on gumtree for qualified mobile therapists too, who are able to come to you.
