Bulk Nutrients; is quality assurance for protein supply a legal requirement?

@Bulk Nutrients; is quality assurance for protein supply a legal requirement?

Yes, there are very strict requirements around labeling and nutritional panels. In fact, the regulations are so strict that even minor deviations can mean consequences.

The levels of which some of these products are out are clearly within the range of what would be considered "deceptive and misleading conduct."
It is not just the fact the protein is so much less than advertised, but the levels of carbohydrates.
If the rest of these products (that isn't protein) ends up being carbohydrates which is likely, then you are looking at situation where the labels are out by 100X.
Claimed carbs .5%, actual cabs more like 50%.

Basically, there is nothing specific about protein having to be accurate, however it is expected that all the macronutrients are reflected accurately, which they are clearly not in some cases you, the people, are seeing through testing.

Cheers.
