Not a celiac but got colitis so try and eat GF. Lots of eggs, meat and veg, yoghurt, rice, rice pasta/noodles, fuck off salads full of meat and bacon (lettuce is just a garnish lol.)

Fuck bread, it's shit anyway empty carbs bugger all protein. I do bog a bowl of pasta occassionally can't help myself its the wog in me.

I haven't been diagnosed with it but I suspect I may be. When I eat bread or pasta or anything with wheat flower in it I'll get mild stomach pains/cramps and gas/bloating. So I try to avoid anything with wheat in it. I eat a lot of rice and potato/sweet potato for carbs. Lots of meat and veggies. I use a lot of herbs/spices in my cooking and make a lot of stews/curries to keep things interesting.

I found out about 16 years ago. I was always crook, runny nose, had the runs, couldn't put on any weight and was about 60kg when I wad 19. Not gluteself but wheat, yeast and a whole heap of other things.
My diet consists mainly if meat, veg, and things like rice vermicelli, rice pasta etc.

Yea me too mate it's hard eating out with cross contamination and stuff like I orderd gluten free pasta from a restaurant when I was first diagnosed and the guy brought it to me ect was just about to eat it then the manager said hold on so I waited it turns out the idiot chef didn't change the water. I was a noob back then lucky any way that opend my eyes, I will only eat food I prepare now with my own utensils. Gotta be fussy these days :) my joints feel 100 % better how's your joints?

Do u purchase that specialised gluten free labled stuff ? I find it a rip like changs ect I just read labled in the normal section and find what i need. Health food isle stuff is a major rip. this is a lucky country with food label laws

I dont really buy any specialised and packaged gluten free stuff. The pasta is only 2 bucks for a big pack at our local Foodland and they sell heaps of other gear too. The main thing I look out for and stick with is decent oats, I always get Lowan oats now, I find the cheaper ones give me serious issues and upon researching why it's due to them being stored, and processed along with wheat.
I will occasionally buy a pack of gluten free biscuits, but not often, I mainly just stick to meat, especially when we are out, can't trust anyone and I need to be careful there are no traces of nuts in stuff too so stick with fairly plain stuff.

I'm too scared to try oats lol corn and potatoes seems to mess me up a little and quinioa fucks with me too..my main carb source is sweet potato and brown rice.how are u with potatoes n corn n quinoa ?

I'm in the same boat I know there are gluten free oats but I can't find them anywhere they have them in America though. I have gluten and wheat free bread with quinoa and other seeds, that doesn't give me any issues.

It might be the fructans in the wheat not the gluten itself.

I had a bad allergic reaction to them. Face blew up like a balloon and went red as a lobster. Was weird happened after taking them on and off for a few years. Tried them again same thing. Been on prendisone for a while, which I hate but is preferable to ending up in hospital.

There are other drugs they want to try but sides can be an issue.

Have you got gut problems?
