Looks like an interesting bit of gear.
I think for most though the novelty would wear off pretty quick. Could be wrong but I think most people on here just measure their progress by how heavy the things are that they're picking up and putting down or how they look in the mirror. Don't really need a $250-300 device to do it.
 
I like it. But I think you might be right about it not keeping the interest of the user for very long.

Too geeky and too much info for me. I just want to get to the gym, train, and get out. Not spend my rest time looking at graphs and shit. I'd rather be using these valuable moments perving.
