Fat Bars

Just came across this thread, I made my own thick dinosaur bars ages ago, just buy some solid 27mm steel bar (for standard plates), slip some pipe over it and then get another larger piece of pipe and slip that over it, weld it up and you are done.

Ezy Metal is where I bought the materials from. Mine is smooth, but you could get it knurled I guess. Just take it to a metal fabrication place to get done.

And yes it is hard to grip, but that is the whole point of them;)

I bought a shitty old barbell for $100.

Taken off one sleeve and hoping I can find some pipe that fits over it perfectly so I can have rotating collars!
