De Quervain’s Tenosynovitis

Hey guys,

Recently diagnosed with De Quervain’s Tenosynovitis after a fall. Had a cortosone injection yesterday and have to have my hand imobolised in a split for 4 weeks. Doc said I can still train as long as have my split on but it is extremely difficult to grip a bar and I don't really want to fuck it up as the prick costs me $200 bucks evertime I walk in the door.

Has anyone ever trained with a split on before?

If so any recommendations for exercises?

or should I just not bother for 4 weeks?

Cheers
