Correcting Unsymmetrical Lats

Puggy

Member
Hey all,

Just doing a few photo's after I dropped the fat I gained from my last bulk.
And I noticed unflexed that my right lat seems more developed than my left.
I have an idea why this is, as I have always trained with two hands, but obviously my left arm is stronger than my right even though my right is dominant.
As you can see there is a fair bit of difference!!

Some one arm DB rows might be in order? Anyone know of a time frame? Or how many sets per workout I should do extra to correct this weakness?

Thanks
Daniel

Perform one arm dumbell rows with you weak side first.
Over time they'll even out due to the weaker side working harder.

Most people have imbalances in the muscles somewhere.....

my my left bicep trap and lat are bigger than right, and pump up much quicker and fuller.

not sure if it's,a nerve issue, but it has all the specialists stumped.

There's a slight difference, center the camera and take another pic. Whoever took that is to the left and on an angle, makes it look worse than it is

Maybe one percent of the worlds population have almost perfect symmetry and weight training is not the cause or remedy.

Thanks all for the contribution.
I'm adding some DB Rows to my routine. But not altering too much.
I understand there is always going to be some difference.
Deadlifts tomorrow, keen.

I like to add volume to the weak side. So I start with the weak side and finish with the weak side so there will be an extra set done on each session essentially. Adds up over time.
