Concentration Supplement?

Hey guys

Okay well recently I have just been zoned out when I train, it's just like I train hard but during my rest sets I zone out and think about other shit that is going on in my life...

So ye I am after something to take during my workout to help me concentrate and stay focused... I used to take purple wraath about a year or two ago when I used to train and thought that helped me quite a lot and got me pumped up in comparison to not taking anything...

I want to stay clear of caffeine...

I am not really after mixing up my own blend from bulknutrients etc. as for BCAA's/EAA's I have always just bought the 'commercial' product as I from what I have read taste and mix better...

Any opinions on what I should be looking for?

BCAA'S or EAA's - Purple wraath or XTEND?

Some other focus type product?

Cheers

Sit down chest back...

Breathe in your nose for 4 seconds out for 2...

Repeat 5 times..

Center yourself and refocus.

It's the concentration but also its just it feels as if it works in combination with not getting a pump...

It's weird to explain lol, like 5mins can go by and I wouldn't know cause I am thinking about problems outside of the gym and since I don't get a pump I loose focus...

Hrmm I dont think that makes any sense.

It's a mental thing mate, don't know that any supps will help with that. You have to be switched on and focused before you start the workout...be looking forward to it. I think about what why my goals are for the workout, how many/which exercises I'm gonna do, what were the weights/reps I did last time, what will I do this time etc.

At the end of a set I'll log the details, think about how I went, what I'm gonna do next set. The whole workout I'm thinking only about the workout. That happens about 98% of the time. A few times my mind has wandered during a 12 rep set...thinking about work or whatever, but I force myself to snap out of it the next set.

Another thing to consider if you've got an iphone or ipod touch is to get the Gymbuddy app. You can set a timer in between sets. It'll start dinging after the time expires and wake you up out of your daydream.

White Flood by Controlled Labs :)

Mental focus is off the charts, that was my favourite aspect of the product.

So solve the problems, its like not sleeping because you are worried aobut something, vlaium is not the answer solving the problems are..

If something is worrying you this much it needs to be delt with.

I use the gym to focus myself and get my mind off things outside the gym.... + a huge shot of caffeine is always good!
