Nice work, On the defranco #4 l think i was doing the wrong exercise... When l was doing the hang clean l wasn’t touching the ground after each rep so does that DQ me or what’s the go??

Don't think it matters too much.

As long as the bar doesn't sit on the ground so you're not getting a rest at any point.
 
the above is a hang clean. I thought I was supposed to be doing power cleans which is from the ground.

I tried the cosgrove evil 8. FAIL! Just found out that I have no idea how to transition from a front squat to a push press haha. Was at 48kg and would have done it easy had it not been for my retarded wrist flexibility. Probably shouldn't be pushing too hard with my shoulder anyway, whoops.

Great idea on the thread though. Gives good targets to aim for for some metabolic finishers.
 
From memory in all the actual DeFranco vid's they only do hang cleans.

I'll edit the OP so they're all hang. Yours still counts though :p

And mainly doing the bezercher one yesterday just showed me how de-conditioned I am haha

only time it's a power clean from the floor is the beginning of the "Bear" complex.

otherwise unless I've missed something there is no complex where the bar touches the ground between start and finish

aah damn it :p Power cleans are harder for me anyway if that matters at all haha. Oh well, that was only first attempt to get on the board. Much improvement to be made.
 
For me power cleans = more effort due to greater distance covered but hang cleans = more forearm pump which can be a hassle in the longer combos
 
Cosgrove's Evil 8 is missing an exercise - it should be:

Deadlift
Romanian Deadlift
Bentover Row
Power Clean
Front Squat
Push Press
Back Squat
Good Morning
 
gaz, as the resident judge, for the Bear complex, can it be a squat clean like the cross fitters do instead of power clean, then front squat etc
 
If the X-fitters do a squat clean then it's all good.

If I was going to be a prick I would make it that they all have to be fluent with no pauses :p

Hmm just realised that DeFranco #3 is the same as Cosgrove's minus the good mornings at the end.

May turf it in that case

*got rid of number 3 and moved number 4 to number 3. but now the old 4 new 3 is still pretty similar to Cosgrove's haha
