[CAPO] National Power Lifting Championships

Hey guys,
As some of you may know, the CAPO nationals are coming up.
They are being held in Albury this year, on the 27th and 28th of August 2011.
If you are in the OPEN MENS class, you must have previously qualified for this event. Teenagers, juniors, seniors and all woman do not need to qualify to attend this event.

Is anybody from here lifting? Going down for a look?

Albury is a hill Billy town, perfectly suited to a PL meet  J/K

Nar, I think they hold the Nationals there each year, they did last year anyways.

I will be competing. There should be a few of us from the Musclepit from sunny WA I know for sure that Henry Day and George Okunev and myself will definitely be competing.

Nats were is Melbourne last year morgan you went to them.

They move around each year and because CAPO doesn't have a presence in Sydney it goes to albury.

I have to qualify first.

I have to agree, where the f@#k is Albury & why are we lifting there?

Its going to be a Top Gear race to get there as well, 2 planes & a hire car....

I'll talk to PTC Brisbane competitors today/tomorrow about going down together and sharing a room similar to last year.
I was thinking thurday till Sunday.
