Hey
been getting some conflicting answers to bench press. Some people say to try and get within an inch of the chest others say just get the bicep and forearm to a 90 degree angle

Was just wondering while doing the bench press, how close to the chest should i bring the bar

do whatever is comfortable FOR YOU :)

bodybuilding is all about how u feel doing the excercise, can't feel it working don't do it, is how i always approach my regime...

I would say bring the bar down till it just lightly touches the chest.

the form of bringing it down until your arms are at 90 degrees is known as a partial rep and is normally used when people have a shoulder injury.
