Did you find these were any tougher to 'recover from' than SLDL?

They are actually easier to recover from for me, SLDL give me the worst doms of any other movement.

But I didn't do them on the beginner program as I was doing allot of wider stance low bar squatting, and activating the glutes and hammies that way. I done conventional fairly lightly to begin with, I was well aware of getting my technique down pat first.

It was also discussed earlier in the thread why they chose sldl in the original program over conventional deadlifts

Fair point that was covered I must have missed why they don't use normal deads.

What's hasn't been answered for me is what exactly is sldl? Is it stiff leg, straight leg? Are they both the same?

And how do you do them? Any links?

Hey mate, pretty sure it's stiff leg, if you youtube it you should get plenty of education, in any lift really
