Hey Guys,

I am thinking about getting a DEXA scan and the starting to look at progress, but was hoping to find somewhere to get my DEXA scan which is close to me, I have been recommended by a couple of people to goto a place in the CDB which doesn't really excite me, SO I looked around and found quite a few places do these scans but I was wondering if it is worth it if you just pay for the scan and that's it, or whats the difference?

Are all places which do the scans the same?

OR I was looking at this Bodpod thingo http://bodyologypps.com.au/bodpodbodycomposition.html which is nice and close to work and home?

Neddy just keep using the same guy and machine each visit. I know there was difference between operators at Sydney measure up on the same machine.
 
I wonder whether if its financially viable to start one of these DEXA bodypod businesses in Perth.. as far as I can see, theres no convenient way of getting DEXAs done here, or they are just too expensive.
 
Yeah and you got to go to a hospital and do it here, I feel like an invalid going there just to get a scan lol.

I thought there was a couple of private mobs in Perth that do DEXA? I looked into it a while ago but didn't get around to it. Burning a tank of fuel to be told I'm fat is a bit off putting...
