Any Gold Coast lifters here? New Strength Gym Opening Soon.

This sounds like it's exactly what I have been looking for. I would definitely come check it out and I have two training partners who I'm sure would too; particularly if it's located in the central to northern parts of the Coast.

    Beginners program

At 77kg BW I have reached 100kg BP pretty easily and am well on my way to 180kg DL, however, I am really struggling on the squat. Markos suggests 140kg squat as the bench mark for beginners to work too, right now I can squat...

Good call! I believe Jones was a national champ from a community college which make makes me think he was div III champ? Bader was an NCAA div I wrestler which makes him a tough fight for Jones, he has a better wrestling pedigree. I really would like to see Jones win though.

I'm a recreational lifter and in general I feel...

Post up what you are eating

I'm unsure about carbs in WPC? The WPC I use has 1.6g of carbs per serve (refer http://professionalwhey.com.au/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=26&products_id=60) where as the WPI I use has 0.3g of carbs per serve. So you're correct in that it does have more carbs but 1.6g is still not very much...
