    Thoughts on Zyzz?

I learnt he's responsible for alot of internet slang. Didn't know who he was until i read this thread. Very toned but looks like a morsel. I'm more of a fan of the Sonny Bill Williams physique, in the non gay way.

    How am i going?

The diet you showed us did not list any serving sizes so guessing is about best we could do, 200g protein is still too low anyway. in regards to your workout, you should read the sticky post of "Beginners look here" It's got all you will need in a very simple layout. Best of luck.

    How am i going?

Diet is a bit off. Looks as though you are short of or just meeting 1gm protein per pound, and thats the minimum. Most people here advocate for 4gms of protein per kilo for gaining mass and bodyweight (in pounds) x 20 as your daily caloric intake. I'll let you do the math.

Post up what you are eating

The butcher near me charges $11 a kilo which is $1 over the chain supermarkets but the quality is not even close, im quite happy to pay the extra 1$. I remember the shit im bought from coles was terrible and vowed to never buy from them again.

Losing more than 2lbs of fat per week

Apart from weekly dexa scans it's impossible to tell where the weight loss is comming from on a weekly basis. The idea of the half kilo a week is to give some assurance of minimal muscle loss to account for the drop in weight.

    Maintaining Intensity

    Thought on this diet..?

You should give everyone an idea of your weight/height and training routine / lifting numbers. Diets do differ based on all of those factors but from first glance it dosen't look like its based on any sort of specific goals but more of a generic outline you could have accessed for free.

Where is my diet going wrong?

You should include what your goal is and elaborate more on your lifts so the guys can see why you've gone for the diet choices that you have.

    630 pounds to this...

That is quite phenomenal. It's sad to see some people get this way though, as much as it is their fault there is a reason/trigger and im sure once you're even half his size the idea of turning it arund seems like fighting a losing battle hence the deterioration into absurd obesity.

    Not being sore

I came here a while ago with a similar question. The answer i got was that DOMS or Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness is something that occurs in new lifters or those who have not trained for sometime. Overtime you become accustomed to the stress and the DOMS subsides with frequent training.

    lower back issue.

Hi guys, ive spoken to fadi about this and hes provided me with some good advice, but instread of just annoying him about it if anyone else has some information it would be helpful. Squats & their variations.

true okie dokie, can you tell me why that one is better then the arms crossed version? i dont have any preference it's just the one i saw being used most commonly.

from reading / watching after reading what you posted it would seem i've been doing the high bar, will try the low bar in a few days, might make things easier, cheers.

    Squats & their variations.

I certaintly felt the difference between the two thats for sure. I was holding the bar on what i believe to be my 'muscle shelf' alot of the guides tell you to do, but man i still found it uncomfourtable and i have an enormous respect for anyone squatting heavy loads after my initial attempts...

    Squats & their variations.

So when i joined the gym i went through the typical routine, some guy writes you a program and you follow it until it bores you to tears. I decided to do my own research and learn what i wanted to do seeing as the exercises being shown to me were not the ones i saw the seasoned lifters around me...

without hijacking your thread macca, a question to the vets, how important are carbs for someone whose lifting but main aim is to drop fat mass? ATM i am avoiding them all together except for breakfast and only taking carbs through fruit, is this the wrong idea?
