    Sharp pain where traps meet shoulder

    Last night, on the last rep of the last set when benching, I felt a sharp stabbing pain in my shoulder, where the trap meets the shoulder. It feels like a joint pain, not muscular, and only hurts when I move. Ideas?

    Lots of snatch

    Has anyone tried this, if so, how many of reps did you do? SSST In 10 mintues, see how many times you can perform a snatch with a 24kg KB. You can switch hands. Ladies, use the 12kg. The record is 297 reps.

    I think I read on here once there is a correlation between wrist/ankle size and bodyweight. For interests sake, what is your current BW, wrist and ankle size? Take the measurement at the narrowest part of each. BW: 71kgs Wrist: 6.5" Ankle: 8.5"

    In another thread there has been quite a bit of talk in regard to injury as the weights start to get heavier. So, how do we avoid this? Is it an inevitable part of heavy weight training?

    Calf exercises

    My equipment includes a power rack, barbell, bench and heaps of weights. What can I do to increase calf size? My quads are getting bigger with squats, but my calves are shameful. I've seen those seated calf raise machines, are they any good?

    High bar - Across top of shoulders Low Bar - Sitting behind shoulder blade ala Mark Rippetoe Mid Bar - Somewhere in between I use the high bar position with the bar sitting on top of my first vertebrae, find the others uncomfortable.
