    I saw some fashion slave all decked out in his brand spanking new Adidas gear, kept giving the stink eye to anyone not wearing any Adidas gear. I was going to ask him to spot for me but he seemed busy running his fingers under his Adidas logo like a game show model. :cool:

    Sounds like you have it slightly too high also, I have it about an inch below that bone.

    The reason for the towel is probably due to inexperience, they have the bar too high on their back and it is putting pressure on the C7 cervical vertabra ( the bone that sticks out at the base of your neck).

    I train at home now so its no longer a problem for me, but gym staff need to be more vigilant or less reluctant to discipline the regulars who flout the rules.

    Glad someone else brings a towel with them, last gym I went to I was in the towel bringing minority....despite there being signs on the walls saying everyone must use a towel.

    Sick calves

    For some reason I don't find well developed calves aesthetically pleasing. It seems to throw the natural tapering of the legs off balance.
