    I have played a fair bit in my younger days and more recently as well. I found the training changed a lot depending on the time of year. Off season... hit the weights and keep some sort of run in your legs. Preseason was always the real gut buster stuff. 1km and 3km time trials and sprints...

I do a lot of shoulder stretching and warm ups before workout and haven't had any drama's yet. I wouldn't worry about any noises too much but...

    As a few of the other guys said squeezing your glutes definitely makes a difference when doing standing OHP. Lower back pain after doing this lift generally means your core might need some work. Either way, this video helped me A LOT ... with technique and understanding the lift more. OVERHEAD...

    Chicken wings Coles beef mince Homebrand oats Whatever rice is on special Frozen vegies (1kg homebrand mixed veg is $1.60 last time i looked) Can generally get a 2-5kg bags of potatoes from a local grocer pretty cheap Lots of options out there these days!

    Cant stand the taste of spirulina! Don't want to sound too critical on the whole super green supps but I just eat vegies. Handful of kale, spinach etc in my morning shake does the trick.
