But hes admitted either him or his missus is bi sexual so its better from his standpoint that he plants his head in the sand and not give a shit.

Your continued deflection and refusal to answer how the legalisation of gay marriage would effect your life only goes to prove your homophobia.

Thanks x

Nice.

Refusing to answer questions when you demand answers from others AND including a derogatory descriptive epithet to stifle contrary belief.

You can probably get married in Ireland.

You're the one trying to stifle debate by bringing polygamy into the discussion when it's not at all relevant.

25%of gay men in san francisco are HIV positive.rough estimates would place that as around 11,000 homos .theres approx 15000 cases of HIV in the san francisco area.so about 75% of these cases.82% of new cases of HIV are gay or bi sexual.fuk thats high.

Proving my point.

I'm all for rational thought, being rational also means seeing the logical extension of argument, the logical extension of "love" is allowing all who "love" to 'love" without societal convention interference.

Deciding the cutoff point for human rights while decrying those with an opinion of where that point exists is hypocritical at best.

You don't believe polygamy to be worthy of discussion?

Not when the discussion at hand is the union between 2 consenting adults

if I may answer dear darko; why not, they are not harming anyone else besides macho men like Gerry.
My point was leading to this, the 'two conselting adults' argument is probably not the best one to use unless you have no objection to the following consenting adults who love each other getting married, brother and sister, sister and sister, brother and brother, father and daughter, father and son, mother and son, mother and daughter and so on.

but no one is talking about siblings; the debate is about two unrelated adults of the same sex.

It is an interesting point you raise; that is why the debate over gay marriage should be extensive before the society accepts it. The reality is that 70% of Australians now do, at least on recent polls taken. We have been talking about this issue for a while.

and I don't think it is an issue that will stir the silent minority to violence.

The poll count is almost 50/50

i didn't support the girls right joining the Boy Scouts either, but I had no say in that either.

at end of day, you guys have had your say, but Australians will support gay marriage. My tip is get over it.

for myself, i am happy for same sex people to marry to further legitimise their legal rights.

Really?
Shit, Australians support it.
I better not exercise my right to have a say because Chris said to get over. Australians support it.
I feel so stupid now.
