Thought I post what I achieved this year.

I started the Stronglifts 5x5 in April and was 104kg (27% BF) and at the end of 3 months I achieved.

Squat - 157.5kg x 5
BP - 97.5kg x 5
Press - 62.5kg x 5
Row - 85kg x 5
Deadlift - 140 kg x 1

My deadlift was the weakest compared to what it should be but it was an exercise I had never done before.

After the 3 months I went into pure body weight exercises as I was doing Tough Mudder in september but due to circumstances it didn't happen.

I did Starting Strength for the last 2 months which I weighed 93kg and achieved:

Squat - 142kg
Bench - 97.5kg
Press - 60kg
Deadlift -135kg

Once my actual Tough Mudder is over in Feb am looking forward to training longer and smashing these number hopefully.

I find it interesting that i'm only really starting to struggle with deadlifts at 170 and with bench at around 120, but i can't get my squats beyond 100kg for love or money, and yet other people seem to have way better squats than me with similar/lesser other lifts...

My latest PB's/maxes have been (@ around 110kg BW)

Overhead press - 70kg x 1, 60kg x 4
Bench Press (120kg x 1, 110kg x 5, 100kg x 10)
Squat (70kg x 20, 80kg x 10, 90kg x 5, 100kg x 4, 120kg x 1 .. awful rep)
Front Squat (60kg x 1 - Struggle to keep bar on shoulders, 2x 20kg KB's x 10 - noisy knees)
Deadlift (140kg x 5, 160kg x 3, 170kg x 1 almost)
Row (80kg x 5)
Ezy Bar preacher Curl (45kg x 8)
Chinups (3 @ BW)

My squats have always been superior than anything else. Back when I was younger I was a baseball pitcher the emphasis was on legs legs legs and little upper body work. I definitely don't look symmetrical, I have big legs, no chest and my right lat muscle extrudes far beyond my left one from all the throwing.

I know a former thrower like that. He has been training with assymetric dumbells, using a heavier Dumbell to strengthen the weak side.

One of the guys at my gym has a 1RM squat of 170kg, 1RM bench of 160kg, and 5RM deadlift of 200kg. I'm not sure what the issue is that's holding his squat back relative to his other lifts (if I did know, I might be able to give you some constructive advice, too), but maybe take some solace in knowing that you're not the only one in your situation.

This is why the squat is the summary of your entire training. Even if you're a gifted squatter, it takes a buttload of effort to increase it. This just isn't the same with the bench and deadlift for a lot of people. My deadlift will just increase without me doing anything... but even for gifted squatters like Zach they need to work their ass off to increase it

The issue is he aint squatting enough. lol

Got 105kg front squat today. First time properly front squatting in a while, nice to open up with a PB

130kg high bar squats (ATG, lol!) today. Fuck yeah!

The last time I did some "heavy" oly squatting, it was @ 117.5kg, so this is awesome.

It was on a whim, haha. My hamstrings (and upper back, ugh) were still sore from Wednesday, so I wasn't planning to do any squats other than front (which went okay). However, after that and a whole bunch of mostly upper body work, I decided that just wasn't enough squatting for the day, damn it! :D

Went with high bar, because hams. 60,80,100,110,120... and 120 felt really light (!) so, after just brief hesitation, I thought "fuck it", put some 5s on, attacked the bar, and made it my bitch, lol. :p

I dunno. Little things like that, they make me feel happy. Not a huge lift, sure, but damn if I dont love me some PRs. Even da little ones.

Hi, new here, thought this would be a good thread to lose my post-ginity.
Current maxes are;
-160x3 squat
-120x1 paused bench
-200x1 deadlift
-90x1 strict OHP
@roughly 125kg BW and 20y.o
Been training for the most part of a year, been ridiculed with old injuries flaring up here and there from a short stint in playing american football during 2011. Initially it was hard to get my bench moving from shoulder injuries, took me about 3months to get it from 80-90kg. Shoulder much better now and haven't had a problem since. Did something to my right knee while doing front squats in march which made an old knee injury worse and didn't squat for 2months due to 'medical advice' which was not worth it at all because it still struggles here and there but it's manageable and getting better slowly!

Thanks for alerting me to that fluffy, I hadn't noticed
Fluffy saves the day again

77.5kg paused bench today, went up smooth
Went for a paused 80kg but just missed it, was a real grinder

After deciding to not squat today I got up and stoped whinging about carb depletion.
Squatted 85 x 5 @ 57kg's - my highest 5rm :) and carb depleted from Keto :p

Nice work kaz! Keto can be "fun" :p, but it's even worse for you girls cause you tend to really hang on to your glycogen stores! Going from glyco to keto takes a lot less time for guys (3-4 days compared to ~7 days). So stick with it and bring on the results :D

Thanks Bams!! My husband registered readings today and I still hadn't!

Long time reader, but i never post, and finally hit some numbers im semi happy with so i thought id join in.

BW; 80.6kg , im 22. I was 61kg 18 months ago.

Sq:130kg x 3 atg
DL:155kg x 3
BP:90kg x 3
Chins: BW + 20kg x 6

These are my usual working sets now, that i follow up with volume work. Not sure if its the best approach but it seems to be working, slowly.
