hmmm this is an interesting question and I have no proper answer other than.....they're pretty? They sparkle and stuff? And they're precious....and given with meaning, most of the time. lol

I love diamonds, although have never been given one from a man.
I inherited my mothers beautiful jewellrey when she died and I bought myself a beautiful art deco diamond ring in NY many years ago, which I wear everyday.

Someday...I'd like to get a diamond, from a bloke who'd like to say "Yo, I love you, lets spend our lives together"!

Until that time...all I can offer, is that the sentiment behind giving them, is what has made them so special?

The first thing I do...when I hold a baby, is smell the top of it's head.

I swear, that is the scent of heavens clouds right there.

And, in addition, I would love another baby....soooooooo my ovaries sing when I see them. lol

My brother got married last year...and when he proposed to his gf 3 years ago...he made sure to tell her the ring cost him $30,000, the matching wedding band was $5000.

I pulled him aside, as his beloved sister and informed him that he'd set the bar SO high....he could never give a shit gift, EVER for the rest of his natural life. lolol

Sex, for me, is such a mental thing. It's got very little to do with a man's physique or how good looking he is and everything to do with WHO he is. I would take a man who could make me laugh any day, over a chiselled body or washboard abs.
