Test Booster Trial - anyone interested?

Mick - are we doing separate Training diaries for this test, or are you incorporating this into your regular personal one?
 
Not sure mate.

I have started using the stuff last week, actually one week yesterday, had the first on Monday the 14th of November, so I am on day 8 today.

I have all my blood results as well which suggested I could very well benefit from this, as it left a fair bit of room for improvement.

Will let Aaron from Bioflex decide on how he wants to run it.

Aaron did say he was going to send us e mail, but have received an SMS to my mobile instead to specify on how and when to take each supplement. It's pretty straight forward, and fits in with my regular multi vitamin, creatine and fish oil intake protocol anyway, so no additional work for me as such.
 
I would think a thread in the Bulk Nutrients sub section would be the way to go? And include a link to your training log in the thread.

Aaron or Ben can advise on what they want us to actually include on a daily / weekly basis.

I will be running my training log as usual, alongside with this (will be a new training log though).

As already mentioned earlier in the thread tho, I won't be starting for a little while yet - for the most consistent results, after new years is probably the best time.

Same. Xmas and NY are guaranteed variances for me on diet and training - I'm not that anal. :D

I'm actually still going to be dieting over christmas / new years, but there will be inevitable variances on a few days (family get togethers etc) where I won't be able to eat what I need to).

The main thing for me is that I will be transistioning from a cutting diet to a (clean) bulking diet over that week. So will need to have had my diet consistently at a higher caloric intake for at least probably 2 weeks, so as not to skew the results. Will probably start the new diet in the weeks leading up to new years, and hopefully will be good to start the trial first or second week in january.
 
Sounds good guys, I am not worried about xmas, as I will pretty much change nothing over the xmas break, the only day that might show some changes will be xmas day as we are having a family get together BBQ and new years eve.

But then again I believe the trail should be trailed in the real world as well, My diet was pretty good and not too far off what Max Brenner recommended, I have taken his input on board and have tweaked it slightly.

Will be good to see the results.:)

Looks good, nice to see the ZMA included in there.

What are the doses we are meant to take?

The test booster combination doesn't seem like enough tho, I thought it was 4 capsules a day? (2 serves of 2)

Also the serve of D-Aspartic Acid was 3g a day if I recall correctly, so we would need more of that?

Also, regarding the DAA, I read the following about it:

To get the most benefit from D-aspartic acid you must use a form that is highly soluble and bioavailable. Unfortunately, straight D-aspartic acid has terrible water solubility (less than 1 gram will dissolve in 220 milliliters of water). This means that it basically sits in your digestive tract as a gritty powder and absorbs very slowly and erractically. Furthermore, at higher dosages this powder can cause digestive disturbances in susceptible individuals.

How to solve the d-aspartic acid solubility problem is found out. Calcium chelate of the amino acid is the key.D-Aspartic Acid Calcium Chelate dissolves practically instantly in any beverage and it is essentially tasteless. What that achieved was increasing the water solubility from less than 1 gram/200 milliliters to practically limitless. It was quite a remarkable achievement. What is also remarkable about this chelate is that it happens to be stable over a very wide pH range. Once converted to this calcium chelate the amino acid became much more user friendly, as well as more quickly absorbable, and quite possibly more bioavailable. In addition to that, you get a healthy dose of highly bioavailable calcium with each dose.

It is recommended that people take 1-2 servings a day, and often users may find it advantageous to “load” with 2 servings (6 grams) a day for two to four weeks and then “coast” with 1 serving (3 grams) a day for the remainder of the cycle. Cycles can last anywhere from 3 weeks to indefinitely, since this product works with your body and is completely natural.

Not sure if you are aware of this Ben / Aaron, but is it possible to accommodate the above? I think the general idea is just to take the DAA with calcium chelate, no idea where you get that from though.

On a side note, I am really looking forward to trying this. I want to gain around 7-8kgs LBM next year if possible, but at least 5kgs.

Will be very interested to see how the combination of these products works.
 
There is three months supply provided by BN of the Test Booster, DIM and D Aspartic acid, there was however only 2 months of the ZMA (120 caps):confused: Might have to ask Aaron about that to clarify:)

Dosage are 4 x Test Booster (2 taken am and 2 taken pm), 2 x dim (1 taken am and 1 taken pm), and 2 x ZMA (taken PM) and 2 gram D Aspartic taken AM and 2 gram D Aspartic taken PM.

I don't dissolve the D Aspartic, I just eat it, tastes quite pleasant in my opinion all washed down with water.

Trial mate... t.r.i.a.l. :)

Well I will put this out there:rolleyes:

Today is day 9 of me taking all the test boost supplements as prescribed.

Since then my squat has gone from 127.8kg to a new PB of 141.48kg (reaching and surpassing my goal of 140kg:)) Thats a whopping 13.68kg in under 2 weeks!!!!!! The 141.48kg came up easy, and was a full squat, I felt like adding more weight, but did not want to risk injury, so I left it at that!!!!

My dead lift has gone from 153.4kg to 162.2kg, adding 8.8kg over the same time frame.

And today was the first time I benched over 100kg since my chest strain in early August, again it felt light and I recon I could have nailed a new PB in the bench, but had no spotter and again did not want to risk injury, so was happy just to get over 100kg.

Placebo???? Coincidence???? Would I have done the same without the supplements???? Could they work this quick???? Who knows??? But one thing is for sure I am feeling on top of the world at the moment, and that's all that matters.....

Mick, are you finding it hard getting to sleep since taking the caps?

Ive been taking dim, tb and zma only for 3 days so might be nothing but im finding it harder to sleep and generally feeling a bit hotter. Might just be because im riddled with disease thought, not sure.
 
No issues sleeping mate, but I am a shift worker, generally 7am to 5pm (9.5hrs) for days and 3pm to 1am for arvos (9.5hrs), so my sleep patterns are not great anyway, I just sleep when I can get it. :)
 
Oh okay, hopefully it'll sort itself out soonish then.
Nice work on the squat pb and other gains, hopefully l can mimic those gains in the weeks to come.
 
When l was taking ZMA by itself at night time l found l had some funky dreams but always woke up feeling good. Since i've added to it though im finding it hard to nod off but im still waking up feeling not too bad.
 
How many ZMA do you take, the pack says one before bed, however Aaron recommended me to take two, so thats what I been doing, two test boost, two ZMA and one DIM as well as the D Aspartic acid 2 grams.
 
I just take everything as per the recommended dosage. 1 DIM in the morning with 1 TB and then 1 TB and 1 ZMA at night. I take a green tea extract in the am and pm as well but l dont think that would matter too much.
