Ok here is there scenario , a newbie comes here motivated and excited at joining the gym , but is overwhelmed and has no idea what to do with
the dumbbells, barbells, and odd machines t

your mission should you choose to except is

what workout would you design for them so that they they can gain as much mass as possible in the shortest amount of time?

When starting out what What should a beginner avoid ?

What additional tips would aid a new gym enthusiast to long-term success?

if not an upper lower split, a full body workout including the big 3, such as the beginners program, tell them to stay away from smith machines.
i say this because u start at light weight and increase weight each week, helping keep their motivation high while they learn the ropes and work on technique

Calf raise - 3 x 15 (alternate seated and standing or toe presses on leg press)

Day 2
Bench Press - 3 x 8-10
Military Press - 3 x 8-10
Row / Chins (alternate) - 3 x 8-10

Some bicep and tricep work - Pick one exercise - 2 x 10-12 reps.
