Lets say, you were able to look into the future and in 5 years, you get a disease that will kill you. How are you going to live your life from this day on?

I'm interested to see other peoples ideas so I can add them to my own. This year is dedicated to knocking a lot of them off. For me so far:

  • -See the northern lights [this year in next winter ]
  • -See the Norwegian Fjords [ done- doing again, never felt so alive]
  • -Hike through Jotunheimen in Norway [ planned for this summer]
  • -Visit Amsterdam [ will do this spontaneously in summer sometime ]
  • -Rome [ will do this spontaneously in summer sometime ]
  • -Greece [ will do this spontaneously in summer sometime ]
  • -Hike the Appalachian Trail [ maybe in 5-10 years ]
  • -Road trip from Mexico and ending in Alaska. [ maybe in 5-10 years ]
  • -Dog sledding through the arctic circle (finland sweden etc) [ this winter i hope along with northern lights ]

I want a red one for my mop and blue one for my clothes pegs. Maybe also a yellow bucket as a back up in case one of those breaks.

jokes aside and assuming endless resources:-

1. Go on one of those zero G planes / go into space
2. Find cure to disease thats killing me
3. Do a sht tonne of coca in south america
4. road trip route 66 before america crumbles
5. teach china and india about global warming
6. teach australia about global warming
7. have a kid... controversial if youre going to die though
8. deadlift 200

- To have kids
- To marry my girlfriend
- To lose another 25 kilograms
- To enter a natural competiton
- To buy a home
- To travel more of the world
- To be a fit and healthy in my 40's-80's

I'd quit my job and squat 12 times a week until my body crapped itself, then go travel northern Europe thoroughly before visiting Alaska.

Travel the world more
Get down to 10% bodyfat and then clean bulk (for life)
Buy a home, have kids with the right woman
That's the basics

I can now cross the following off my list:
-Hike through Jotunheimen in Norway
-Rome

List has grown larger now though.
Alaska/northern lights are at the top for the moment.

Move to Alaska and break two world records in the
same year running the Yukon Quest and Iditarod.

Done!:D

Reach level 9 in skydiving
Buy a house without using subject to finance clause
Backpack the world
5 star hotel the world
Get both my PLs and OLs up to 'elite' level
Trek to the top of mt everest
Trek to the south pole
Be fluent in 10 languages
Avoid having kids
Get pilot license

[*]-Dog sledding through the arctic circle (finland sweden etc) [ this winter i hope along with northern lights ]

Any pictures you would like to share? Experiences of it?
I have a huge love for alaska, even though I have never been there. I love any places like that. I've been lured to Norway several times. It's like the "call" from the call of the wild.
I want to go in summer and winter, I imagine both just as amazing as each other.

ive done alot of the things on my bucket list atm. Some others need time and patience,

But if i was to die soonish 5-10 years.

Re-organize my resources and funds so my daughter/wife gets looked after for the rest of their lives.

Whats the difference between bucket list and goals? Theyre one and the same to me.

I think goals can be small-time or intermediary things - Bucket List items are usually stand alone, definitive and often 'large'.

So realistically, not much at all. Scale or finality, i guess.

To have sex with Japanese twins one would indeed place into the bucket list.

How to go about working towards having sex with Japanese twin needs to be classified as a goal.

If one does not know how to go about working towards this goal, then this needs to be listed under the heading as "dream" list.

I don't have any Pic's here to post...

I went on a 2 week 'Mushing' adventure in 2006. It exceeded
my expectations. 6 dog team with me on the back of the
runners.

Amazing country to see and when you 'do' it you realise
what fantastic athletes these huskies really are... especially
when you develop a bond with these magnificent creatures.

I was the last team on this particular run. Gliding over the
frozen lake I looked up and see two dogs team ahead of me
(My guide and one other guy) about 10M in front. It was a cool
-20C or so I'd say. I had this amazing realisation as to how
lucky I am to be there at that moment with these wonderful
creatures pulling me a long with all their might.

I said "WHOA" and stopped the team on the lake and set my
snow hook (just so that the team won't lope without me!).
I sat there for 60sec to appreciate that moment and all god's
creations and give thanks for having such and awesome
adventure....

Suffice to say ever since then I've become a believer and an
addict....

It's nothing and everything you will ever experience.

Remember though don't eat yellow snow!!! LOL

PM me if you need any other info.

Devante.

What things do you want to do before you kick the bucket?

My list....(in no particular order)

1. Go to Mt Everest base camp. Couldn't ever go to the summit but base camp would be awesome.
2. Buy an Aston Martin DB9. Apparently my cock gets bigger too.
3. watch Carlton win an AFL premiership. Saw the 79,81, 82, 87, 95 when I was a kid, would love to see one now.
4. total 450kgs in a powerlifting comp
5. teach my kids how to be good at relationships. Super important, fuck hapiness - life is all about relationships.

I'm sure I'll think of more... would love to see what other people have on their list...
