I bought some EAA's together with some supplements, I opened the bag and then put it away for 7 months, now when I opened it last week I noticed that it has got some brownish kind of colour through it? I would've sworn it was white when I bought it. Would this be the effect of moisture or what? I was a bit surprised because I stored it the same way as my creatine and protein and they're unaffected. Is it still good to use?
Will most likely be fine to consume. The dis-colourisation would be from the moisture that has been absorbed by the 'powder' and it mixing with the flavouring and/or colourings of the product.
yeah chemfag here, what Max said
Typically most things have a slight colour to them, but when they are ground up more light is refracted so it appears to be white
Get some of that natural brown salt and grind that up into a fine powder and you will get the idea
