Well after today incident I might look into buying a belt, I search old post on this forum but they seem more pro on certain brands. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the ironedge nylon lifting belt? But only concern I have is developing a weak core or if im masking the problem but I read that leather digs in so is it a personal preference? . Any recommendations would be helpful.
If you're doing primarily powerlifting movements ie. squat, deadlift, bench - i would go with a belt that is the same width all the way around, the velcro belts are ok, but for the slow heavy movements, a powerlifting style belt will provide much more support to your core
To get the most out of your core and/or belt, you will need to learn to breath into core to stabilize before performing any lifts - vid below shows how to do it
I'm a big fan of the quick release belts, here are some options at various price ranges
Very informative video and informative guide didnt consider those options, cheers ! JACKED FIBRES POWER LIFTING LEVER BELT would this meet the minimum requirements?
