I'm going to be travelling for next couple of weeks and only have access most likely to hotel gym type set ups.
They should have sufficient free weights for what i'm doing,
and i can supplement bench and MP with dumbell press, shoulder press etc,
but unlikely to have a barbell for squats and deads.
What do people usually do when they are travelling for an extended period to try and keep on progressing?
If this has been covered before let me know - had a quick search but couldn't see anything specific.

Do you travel often?
Is it a holiday?
Are you a weight training for a specific reason?
Are you over weight?
Are you married?
How many days do you wear the same undies?

Bodyweight stuff
Improvise with alternate exercises - for example, if you want to do squats but don't have a rack, do hack squats (if there's a barbell)
Play around with different shit - isometric holds, high reps, etc
Or.. Just relax and enjoy your time away, knowing that the gym will still be waiting when you get back
I travel quite frequently for work, although usually I know there is at least one decent gym during the trip (when I go offshore) so if the hotels I stay in at either end don't have decent gyms I generally have a bitch about it and go back to reading by the pool, knowing that at worst I might have to shuffle things forward or back a day or two. If I'm not going offshore and will be spending more than a few days in a hotel with shit (or no) gym then ill try to do tabata body weight stuff in my room each day and go for long walks every evening to keep active.

I normally use the trip as my goal / check point in my training , it's the only thing that motivates me to lean up, to look good in photos.
Once there, I may train once a week, if that, generally just drink heaps of beer, eat like a horse and come back with a gut.
My advice would be just enjoy the trip, start again when you come back, but that's just me, you may have a different outlook.
