The strangest thing. A bloke doing flat db flyes, rather poorly mind you, but at the bottom he would turn the dumbbell clockwise then anti clockwise (or vise versa). I can think of no practical reason for this unless you are trying to fuck up your wrists. Fraudulent workcover claim perhaps?
For an example, sit upright with your upper arms by your sides but forearms out in front like they're resting on a table. Push your elbows back, now rotate your wrists left and right. Absolutely useless.
The add some weight and position yourself on your back and a recipe for a wrist disaster.
I disagree.
People wear specialist shoes to lift, riding is no different really. He's probably a lot more comfortable wearing those than some Dunlop Volleys (as hard as it would be to believe!)
