We have sold hundreds of kettlebells over the last 12-18 months.
The were really popular 18-12 months ago, and the trend has suprisingly continued, generally sell a kettlebell everyday.
Most common weight for guys starting out is 16kg.
People generally buy 1 of each size, like 12kg, 16kg, 20kg, 24kg, although, some people buy them in pairs.
kettlebells are awesome i want to get a couple but they are a bit expensive and anyway i have access to them at PTC. i reckon you need to have a couple of varying weights for different exercises. if i were to get some i'd probably buy:
2x12kg for thrusters
1x24kg for cannonballs
1x64kg for deadlifts
Aka the Ak47 of fitness. Fun, versatile and they nail more than one fitness component strength, cardio and flexibility. Youtube can teach you heaps about Kbs. "Enter the Kettlebell" is widely regarded as the kettlebell bible. Dragon Door have a useful forum www.dragondoor.com. Dynobells in Melbourne sell kbs and dvds on the subject, they have ads all over the net and in Mens Fitness. If you want real value for money you can't go past the detachable kettlebell which can be made into at least 8 sizes and goes up to 40 kg. Dynobells have them for $264 plus packaging and postage. I have seen them in Rebel and Amart sport, who have the Celsius brand. I would definetly have one. Every serious trainer or gym junkie should have one in their toolkit.
