Run Before weights, or Weights before run?

Should you go for a jog before you lift weights or lift weights before you go for a run ? I have read a few thing and getting opinions

In terms of general fitness, which is better before or after? Does going for a jog use up your calories and then lifting weights uses up your fat as people say?
 
Cardio after weights would be best.

That way you can push hard in your weights workout, but should still have endurance to finish off with cardio.
 
After workout if you must, but if you can do cardio in the am and weights in the pm or vice versa.
That's what I do.
