[Rugby] Rugby League & Rugby Union discussions.

Fuck it's common knowledge up here that the NRL wants market share of the second biggest populis in the country.
The best way to do that is to take the biggest spectacle down there. I guess to some extent it's worked with the Storm having some success but still the AFL would crush rugby league in Melb.
 

So the big wigs in he NRL think its worthwhile because they have been doing it for a while now but a bloke on a BB forum knows how to run it better. That sounds likely.
 
my hope, have one match in Brisbane and Sydney each year, and rotate third match each year to other capital cities (those who want it).
 
You would hope so having 10(?) of 18 teams in the competition all in Vic compared to 1 NRL team.

Fuck going to watch rugby, league or union, at an oval though. I watched a Western Force game live at Subiaco and spent most of the time watching the screen because you're nowhere near the game.

Fuck watching AFL at an oval too, that shit is just boring.

Lol. Shrek. You are the one saying you know better than the blokes in charge of the NRL but I'm the one who is talking shit. The NRL is doing much better that it was 5-10 years ago but you know better obviously. Lol.
