To say that you're result-oriented instead of action-oriented is to put the cart before the horse. And many beat themselves over today's actions, simply because their eyes are focused on tomorrow's results. Sure, we all need a goal to strive for, however I believe we need to refocus our attention on what's at hand here, (tonight's workout perhaps), and insure we give it our best shot.
It's these small increments in improvements..., done consistently over a period of time that will produce massive results.

How about the end result itself, can that also be broken down into segments of several results over a larger period of time? Of course it can. If you adopt this line of thinking, you will go on to achieve better overall results in the long run, with less unnecessary daily stresses you can surely do without.
