Not sure about the rest of you- But i live for food.
I don’t have take out during the week and weekend every so often I like to go out and have a nice meal. Weather my favourite steak house or down to Cabramatta for some beef soup and fresh sugar cane juice. I and the missus are always looking for a new palace to eat.
I think it would be good if we started a list here, And I understand we are all form different state, So start with the state and then name the place.
From my experience in eating from some meals that cost a weeks wage and other that cost $10, I have always found the little dingy places are awesome little hidden gems.
So il start
NSW

Very authentic, Tandor cooked and lots of lentils
John Street, Cabramatta
I can spend hours here just walking up and down the street getting little tid bits of fresh pork buns while sipping on sugar cane juice. Working up and appetite before I sit down for a Beef soup and crispy chicken and pork with rice
So many places to choose from- My advice TRY THEM ALL
The Apprentice
TAFE Sydney Institute, Harris Street, Ultimo
Fine-dining that's as cheap as chips. A training ground for TAFE hospitality students, you'll get all the frills without the big bill.
If you have a local TAFE- Usually Wednesdays they have there butcher wholesale open to the public.
Butcher cut meats and fresh snags, EVERYTHING at dam dirt cheap prices its almost criminal.
No to many people know about this but I have family members who are teachers at TAFE and have been brining home this meat for years. It’s a great lucky dip as its always changing.
