Prowlers

Not a prowler but I made my own sled out of an old 4wd tyre, plank of food, eyelet & some rope. I use it in the street from time to time. It's not too noisy.

Mind posting a photo? Couldnt u just push it as well to get the prowler effect?

yeah, I'll take a pic when I go home soon :)

I suppose you could push it also. I've just never tried that. You'd have to get down pretty low though.

These things are good for eccentricless leg training.

dodgy but it works :)

haha yes. That is what the wood is for! I typically use 20kg for upper body push/pull or speed stuff for legs. Or 40kg for slower lower body stuff.

Love ya style JZ, my first sled was just the spare wheel out the boot of my car with rope tied around it, would chuck plates in it, have since moved up to wheel barrow tub with carabiner on the end :D

Like Sumo said, GPP is king and avoid at your own peril.

We use a prowler inside and outside, ropes, kettlebells etc. etc. for GPP. Personally I do it every night after I train.
