ProRaw......its official

I wont be going to QLD.

They just held a National Bench comp and had 8 lifters, 3 from Victoria.

I had 37 in my garage in January.

They have awesome lifters there, I wish they would support Frank and the others who have done so much for the sport.

Victoria is where we get the most numbers, so here it will stay for the time being. I think I'll have 4-5 QLD's coming down for ProRawOne

Ben is like 85kg... strong boy but needs to up his squat... he goes like 165/150/220 ... + can clean and press well over 100 but he will squat and dead more then that on saturday at stickys comp so we will know his lifts then.

I had 37 in my garage in January.
And Scott will have 20 in his garage on Saturday in Brisbane. We need to get those 20 blokes into CAPO lifting with Jeff and Frank. Its not big bucks, its a lifters federation with all money back to the lifters.

Don't worry, I'm on to it...

Cheers,
Mike

Did he get 20?

5 worked, a family member passed away in another. That would have been 18.
Still 12 great guys turned up and gave it 110%

Thats my point to the QLD's.

To move a comp to QLD, who of late have had terrible attendance is simply not a consideration.

Every comp has lifters pull out, I know first hand how hard this shit is to organize.

No one could expect a comp to move from Victoria to QLD currently.

Scott, how many showed up at the QLD State titles. Its a genuine question as I dont know.

You would think with such an awesome climate, more lifters would attend comps. There is no question on the quality of lifters, just the numbers.

Good work Scott, great effort, hopefully it continues to grow

I hope so . With jeff at the reins, things are getting organised and done, which can only be good for the sport.
Everybody just needs to support his comps, and if you CAN'T lift, at least get into the crowd! The last one was good fun.

State was about 10 lifters.

The 10 at state, plus the 12 that attended mine is a possible 22. It's a step in the right direction.
Everybody just needs to take the step and compete. It's actually not as scary as you may think, and you get to meet and pick the brains of some very strong, and very humble lifters.

I may have some news on the naming rights sponsor tomorrow night. Fingers crossed.

I am getting ProRaw shirts made up. I'm thinking of going camo, thoughts?
